Meet some of the extraordinary people who help us to deliver unparalleled client services and the best candidates from university and in the first three years of their careers.
Soraya
Soraya is the Head of the Graduate team at FreshMinds Talent. As well as project managing and coordinating every aspect of the graduate recruitment cycle from concept design through to delivery, Soraya helps an increasing number of big-name clients devise ongoing strategies for recruiting and retaining high-calibre graduates, from oil and gas giants to some of the best-known brands in retail.
Prior to joining FreshMinds in 2005, Soraya used her legal training skills to help a leading recruitment firm set up a team placing lawyers in private practice. She has a degree in Economic and Social History from Edinburgh University and has represented Kenya at tennis and swimming.
Tim
Tim is an account manager on the graduate team working for clients across the professional services as well as technology, media and telecommunications. He arrived in 2007 with an entrepreneurial and commercial pedigree after working for an online startup.
He’s an expert in psychometric testing and is qualified by the British Psychological Society. His interests include how psychometric testing can help develop the graduate recruitment process, and his bad habits include getting sunburned rather too often while sailing off the south coast.
Laura
Laura joined the graduate team at FreshMinds Talent last year and specialises in finding fantastic people to work with our financial services clients. After studying Economic Science at Manchester University, she pursued her passion for numbers into finance and spent a very busy three years in equity operations at Goldman Sachs.
She comes to FreshMinds after creating a new trade support team at Goldman Sachs and helping to attract and train their graduate intakes. In her spare time she stays true to her roots and tutors GSCE and A-Level Maths – but to avoid being labeled too much of a geek, she also dances the night away whenever she can and is a keen music festival fanatic.
