Top-up graduate recruitment for a destination employer
Many graduates would describe working for a household name famous for its chocolate as a dream job. When Cadbury Schweppes decided to top up their graduate recruitment process, they asked FreshMinds to find candidates who stood out from the crowds.

Tasked with finding candidates for graduate training schemes in sales and marketing, finance, HR and supply chain with just five months between the commencement of the process and the start date, we got to work quickly. Once we knew exactly what type of candidates Cadbury Schweppes was looking to attract, we set about finding some of the very best people in the new graduate market who combined living up to the Cadbury Schweppes potential indicators of judgment, drive and influence and extracurricular achievements with a passion for the consumer goods industry. We then interviewed and tested all our candidates against Cadbury’s internal benchmarks to make sure we’d got the very best of the best.

Our instincts were spot on with all of our candidates being put forwards by Cadbury for an assessment centre at their Bournville offices. A few months later, eight candidates from FreshMinds had their dreams fulfilled when they became Cadbury Schweppes’ newest recruits.

Retained graduate recruitment scheme for Lloyds TSB
In 2005 Lloyds TSB began using FreshMinds as their recruitment partner to find outstanding graduates to join their Corporate Markets scheme. Several years on and over 25 successful graduate recruits later, FreshMinds' partnership with Lloyds TSB is still going strong.

Case study in financial services
A big four accountancy firm needed extra graduates to join their audit, assurance advisory and corporate tax practices as trainees in London and Birmingham.  They asked FreshMinds to help them find the firm’s new future partners.

We met with professionals from across the business to understand the reasons behind the existing candidate shortfall.  We then embarked on a comprehensive candidate marketing strategy to candidates in our network and beyond.  As the firm had struggled to attract candidates, we worked to reach new audiences, in particular candidates who were yet undecided about their career choice.  We then interviewed 100 candidates and tested them against our client’s competency framework before preparing successful candidates for an online assessment process and two rounds of interviews.  With 10 offers, FreshMinds achieved the highest conversion rate and was rated as the highest performing agency
