Graduate Leadership scheme – Sales and Marketing
Although he hadn’t then decided on his exact career path, Declan came to FreshMinds determined to find an exciting graduate role. Given his entrepreneurial background and experience in marketing, complete with a CIM qualification, we felt he would be a great fit for the Cadbury Schweppes Sales and Marketing Graduate Leadership Scheme.

From the first meeting, Declan’s confidence and go-getting attitude showed him to be a potential future business leader. After several successful interviews, we prepared Declan for Cadbury’s rigorous assessment process - as well as providing lots of information and practice exercises in advance, our consultant was on hand at the final assessment centre to ensure that Declan and the other FreshMinds candidates were ready for the challenge.

Declan’s natural abilities and some meticulous preparation paid off at the final test and only two days later Cadburys proclaimed him one of their future leaders. Just two months later Declan will start his training on the Cadbury’s Graduate Leadership Scheme getting to grips with everything from a typical sales cycle to strategic marketing initiatives.

Research Executive
After graduating from Warwick with an MA in Industrial Relations, Alex asked FreshMinds to help him find his first job. Since Alex had a strong interest and aptitude for market research, we quickly found him a temporary placement working at a government department. While Alex was busy building up valuable research experience, our graduate team set about finding him a permanent role.

Alex's strong quantitative skills and natural curiosity marked him out to us as someone who would thrive within a research environment. Although Alex didn't have any preferences for what size of company he'd like to work for, we quickly realised that he would be well suited to the dynamic environment of a small and ambitious company. So when a position for a Research Executive came up at the marketing research consultancy, Strata Research, we were confident that the role had Alex's name on it.

We helped Alex prepare for two rounds of interviews which included a personality questionnaire and an interview with the Managing Director. Alex's preparation stood him in good stead. He successfully demonstrated his research capabilities by impressing his interviewers with his detailed understanding of the company and showed tremendous enthusiasm to join the team. It wasn't long before Alex got a call offering him a job. Alex is now enjoying his role as a Research Executive and thriving on the challenges brought by delivering insight for clients.
